We're Doing It For The Children

The formation of our Friends group allows us to work in partnership with our Local Authority, and most importantly the users of the park, the local community. The more people that get involved the more we are going to achieve, hopefully,a park that will form the heart of the local community life. Of course we all have dreams, ambitions, and ideas of what can be done, some big, in fact very big, others small but with big impact.
The formation of The Friends group is that 1st step on what will likely be a long ladder. We are under no illusions about upgrading the park or change perceptions, attitudes or behaviour over night. But what we can do is make a good start and work together to start the process of making the park a safe, clean, and enjoyable experience for every generation.
